Hello, thank you for wanting to book with Lucas. Here is are some things to keep in mind before booking.

Lucas is a little specific of what he is wanting to take on, as all his artwork means a lot to him. The artwork Lucas produces is his passion and what he puts on you is forever. It’s not only his passion but his drive to put his absolute best he can into every single piece he does. This is why being specific matters to him.

If your tattoo idea is not what Lucas feels is right for him, he will refer you to an artist that specializes in what you’re looking to get done.

Lucas likes to focus on realism based pieces of artwork and surrealism photo focused perspective pieces in color or black and grey. With that in mind, he will not take your 10 ideas and make a half sleeve out of them. He will try his best to understand your vision for your artwork and put it on skin in a way that allows his ability to do so. Therefore a little trust will go along way.

Is this a cover up project? Is this going to be an ongoing project eventually? Meaning eventual full sleeve, leg sleeve or back project? This will dramatically alter Lucas’s vision for drawing your piece of artwork, as it’s important to him to have things laid out, flow and focused in the right way for when this project is finished.

Lucas only books half day and full day sessions. All appointments start at 10 am Monday to Thursday. Lucas does not take on small projects that are under 3 hours. He will gladly refer you to an artist that’s suitable for your artwork.

If you are more than 1 hour from Amsterdam, NY Lucas can do an online consultation with you. Just email him and let him know.

If you meet the criteria for working together, after you’ve had your in person consultation or by email there a few important things to remember. It is very important to take care of yourself before your actual tattoo appointment. Please follow: starting at least 3 days before hand, stay very well hydrated. Eat good healthy meals. Please hydrate your skin with lotion before your appointment. If you are sunburnt or have cuts, scratches etc.,  Lucas will have no choice to cancel your appointment and reschedule. If the appointment is a bigger piece Lucas will give you step by step rules to follow  while getting tattooed, that will help you last longer and less pain during your session.

Lucas will not send you the artwork before your appointment. You will see the finished artwork before it gets tattooed, the day of appointment. If there are changes to be made, he will do so the day of.

Deposits: Lucas requires a $100 deposit in order to book a consultation with him. At time of consultation, in person or email, if it's not something he’s willing to take on, you will get your deposit back. If you decide to book after the consult, an additional $100 deposit for the tattoo appointment will be required. The total $200 will then be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo upon your final payment. The deposit is non refundable at this point.

Lucas appreciates 72 hours notice of cancellation or reschedule. Deposits can be transferred to a new date however multiple reschedules may require a new deposit.
